Maybe it’s just me.

So I finally caught up with all my Eureka watching — SQUEE!  I love this show, so much, so so much — and guys, I’m starting to get a little bit freaked out.  I mean, is it just me, or could a good (and growing) case be made for both Jack/Henry AND Jack/Nathan?  I’m only saying this because Jack kind of loves Henry in this wonderful, sweet way and Henry clearly loves JACK even though he’s all messed up in the head about it and then there’s NATHAN who clearly wants to slap Jack around a little bit but then kiss his bruises all better and GUYS IT IS RUINING MY LIFE OKAY?  EUREKA WAS MY NON-SHIP SHOW.

    JACK/NATHAN all the way baby!

Jack and Henry to me are just really good friends (though maybe not right now?) I hope it all turns out ok! I love those two as best friends ♥ .

    Nathan totally WANTS Jack!

I’ve been refusing to think about shipping in Eureka. STOP CORRUPTING ME.

hahahah! Eureka was totally going to be my het ship show, but they kinda screwed it up with Jack planning on leaving Eureka if Henry did.

I pretty much can’t stand Nathan, but I can certainly see the ship.

Eureka was my non-ship show until this season when the snark reached incalculable levels. I would totally be okay if the show changed to ‘Jack & Nathan: Crime Fighters Extraordinaire’, with a side of Carter Family Investigations (because, seriously, Zoe is awesome and snarky too).

Eureka was totally my non-ship show because I couldn’t see any of them getting together at all but in the last few episodes it has occured to be that every single time Jack is in trouble Nathan saves him. He does, it’s like instictive or something “I have to go save stupid 140% Sheriff Jack Carter right now, because if I don’t then I have nothing to stare modily at for the rest of the season”

Yeah, it was non-ship for the whole first season. (Except for Jo/Taggert thing, which is adorable in a “Let me show you my guns and then make out” kind of way.) But this season? It’s like they’re deliberately making it slashy, what with Jack’s “You know you’re my best friend” to Henry (and the angst!) and then the whole snarky, wonderful Jack and Nathan thing going on.

huh. Yea, I didn’t see it either first season. This time.. well.. they’ve really made Nathan a lot more accessable and uhm. yea.

The only way I don’t notice the slash is if I bury my head in the sand and pretend the entire thing is about Zoe and Jo.

Except then I start thinking about slash again.

Man, I review this show. DON’T START! I cannot be talking about slash in my reviews. Argh.

I mean this in the nicest possible way,but I don’t think you’re capable of watching a show without seeing ships for it.

I have to say I’m Jack/Nathan all the way since towards the end of season one. I tried to watch it with out slashing and failed by like ep 4. I so love the idea of Jack/Henry as BFF so no slashing there… but Henry reaction to Jack/Nathan would be kind of funny.
    Peace

Oh, I’m so feelin’ the Jack/Nathan love this season. Especially now! Do you (or anyone) know of any good fic out there for it? I can’t find any!

Oh, would So love Jack/Nathan fic. And not crappy fic either–I mean completely full of snark, both in character–just sort of realizing that the animosity isn’t necessarily animosity :-) I love that Nathan’s more accessible–not necessarily the man in charge anymore. It leaves more possibility.

    There’s such a thing as a non-ship show? Seriously, that’s possible?
