Desperately seeking SOMEWHERE.
Hey ya’ll. I mentioned a while back that I’d be in Seattle for the summer — sadly, every lead/attempt/effort I’ve made to find a non-rapist roommate and/or place to sublet has fallen through. If anybody has ANY suggestions or leads for the Seattle area, I’d probably love you until I died.
And if you’re seeing this twice, it’s because I’m also posting it on my Livejournal. YEAH SEE I AM THAT DESPERATE.
Where in particular are you looking to stay in Seattle? Here is a website that “might”

Have you tried http://seattle.craigslist.org? Also - and forgive the rather pesonal question - what dates will you be here/how much are you willing to spend on rent? I could check some of the flyers at school, there are always people trying to get roommates and whatnot.
Just - stay away from White Center and West Seattle and First Hill. I don’t really know you, but I’d rather you be safe. I know, the rent’s cheap there, but there’s a very good reason for that.
I’ve been up and down craigslist quite a bit, and while I do have a few leads, they’re not terribly promising. I’m looking for something in the below $700 range, and I’d be in town from the beginning of June through early-mid September. Any help you could offer would be TERRIBLY APPRECIATED.
